Friends of the Earth assessment of the parties

So, how friendly are the parties to the planet we live on? After all, the parties are all getting greener aren't they?

Friends of the Earth analyses each party's manifesto:

Using a 'traffic light' system FoE Scotland rated the environmental policies of the main parties against a set of ten proposals circulated to the parties last year. Amongst other issues the analysis covered topics such as climate change, waste reduction, transport, nuclear power and environmental justice.

"The Greens manifesto addresses all of the proposals in FoE Scotland's benchmarking, and in the case of climate change it exceeds our benchmark."

Well, seems like Greens set the standard for green issues still.
